Scientific Dictionary Package™ v.1.x for Microsoft Office : Workstation Edition

The SCIPROOF Scientific Dictionary Package™ (SDP) Version 1.x augments the native Microsoft Office spellchecker with over 250,000 medical, scientific and chemical terms from the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). It is compatible with Macintosh OS X and Microsoft Office X (Word X) and Office 2004 (Word 2004).

Downloading SDP

The SCIPROOF Scientific Dictionary Package™ can be downloaded at any time from www.sciproof.com > Downloads > Download Full Version page. Please make sure that you download the correct product and product version.

Installing & Activating SDP

IMPORTANT: For successful installation, it is essential that all Microsoft Office applications (including Entourage) are closed during installation.

Start the SDP Installer and the installation wizard will guide you through the installation and activation process.

An SDP Post Install Document will open automatically. Please close this document and re-start Word to complete the installation.

NOTE : You must have the appropriate administrative privileges to install the software on your computer. For more information about administrative privilege settings, please refer to your operating system help or contact your system administrator.

Using SDP

This program automatically installs a database of over 250,000 medical, scientific, and chemical terms into the native Microsoft Office spellchecker. This database will be accessed automatically while using the native Microsoft spellchecker in Word, Entourage, Power Point, and Excel. For a demonstration of SDP, please start Word, open the Test Document (this button is located on the Word toolbar), and activate the MS Word spellchecker.

Uninstalling SDP

WARNING : For successful uninstallation of SDP, it is essential that all Microsoft Office applications (including Entourage) are closed!

Run the SDP Uninstaller located on your desktop. This will completely remove SDP from your computer.
