INTERNET SEARCHING

Through the sciPROOF interfaces, PubMed searches can be performed within your Word document. This is facilitated through a special sciPROOF link to the US National Library of Medicine. Search results are displayed through the user's native web browser. Google, Yahoo, All the Web, and MSN search engines are also included in the sciPROOF search interface.

Internet searches are easily performed in Word through the sciPROOF "Search/Modify Term" dialog. Simply select the term, click "Search/Modify" and the available databases and search engines will be displayed.

sciPROOF will display the term to confirm spelling, etc. before proceeding with the internet search.

Search results are displayed through the user's native browser as shown here.

Custom links (URLs) can be added for any custom or sciPROOF term.

Once a custom link is added, it will be displayed through the main sciPROOF "Spell/Style Check" and "Search/Modify" dialog when the term is selected/evaluated. In this example, "Xenopus Resources" was the custom link that was added.
